 Travis Hayes, Owner/General Manager - Travis has been in the boating industry his entire life and is the third generation of Hayes Marine. Travis spent 11 years as a Product Applications Engineer with Mercury Marine. Travis holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina Charlotte and a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. He has a green belt in Lean Six Sigma. Travis holds certifications from Mercury/Mercruiser, Volvo Penta, and is one of seven Yamaha Master Technicians in the state of Georgia.
| Cathy Hayes, Owner - Cathy was introduced to the boating life when she met Travis and hasn't looked back. You can find her in the Sales Department on the weekends or in the office taking care of accounting, administrative, and marketing duties. During the week, she is a District Sales Manager for AstraZeneca. She has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Appalachian State University.  |
| Patrick North, Service Technician- Patrick is no stranger to TradeWinds Marina and is now part of the Hayes Marine staff. He has an automotive mechanics background and an Associate's degree in Automotive Technology from Augusta Tech. Patrick is on his way to becoming a certified technician for Mercury/Mercruiser and Yamaha. |  |
Austin Fields, Apprentice - Austin is a student at Grovetown High School and enjoys his auto mechanic shop class tremendously. He enjoys spending time with his 3 siblings and hanging out with his friends. |  |
Jeff Ellingsworth, Service Technician - Jeff comes to the CSRA from Ocean City, MD where he gained invaluable experience at Martek as a marine electronics technician. If you have any electronics questions, Jeff is our in-house expert! He has over 13 years of experience in the marine industry including building yachts for Bayliner as a senior leads assembler. |  |
Nelson Ferguson - Nelson is Cathy's father. He is a retired HVAC Service Technician who enjoys helping us with all types of projects at Hayes Marine. We are so grateful to him for always helping no matter what we ask of him! |  |
Joe Billiter, Certified Technician - Joe began his career at the original Hayes Marine with Bob Hayes. He currently works full time as a mechanic for the railroad but finds the time to help us out as a Certified Technician. Joe's specialty is Evinrude/Johnson and he enjoys working on vintage boat engines. He is certified in BRP (Evinrude), Mercury and is in the process with Yamaha. |  |
Kevin Fields, Parts Manager/Customer Service Specialist - Kevin comes to Hayes Marine with over 12 years of customer service experience, including 3 years in the automobile sales industry. Kevin also comes with over 7 years of military experience including Desert Storm and Operation Continue Hope in Somalia, Africa. He is happily married with four beautiful children. |  |
Tom McBee, Apprentice- Tom was born and raised in Ohio. He attended Wyotech in Daytona Beach, FL and fell in love with boats and motorcycles. He has many hobbies including anything outdoors, quads, street bikes, etc. Tom is working to gain real world marine mechanical experience so that he can move into a Service Technician position. |  |
| Don Waters, Service Technician - Don has a long history with Hayes Marine as he began in 1981 with Bob Hayes at Martinez Marine. He worked at Martinez Marine until 1989 and then began Augusta Marine. Don has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Don loves mechanical work and enjoys the challenge of completing complicated repairs. We are all excited to welcome Don back to the third generation of Hayes Marine! |  |

| Nic Johnson, Apprentice - Nic attends Evans High School and his interests include fishing and football. He will be helping out at Hayes Marine full-time during the summer. He has ambitions of attending college and majoring in agriculture. |  |
| Peter Lyle, Apprentice - Peter joins Hayes Marine from New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He has many years of boating experience including serving as First Mate off-shore and an Assistant Harbor Master. His interests include boats and his two dogs, a lab and Australian shepherd. |  |
